Beach Fun and Poses!

Here's Kelsey doing her long jump over the mountains. All the kids liked playing in the sand and it was fun to listen to them talk and pretend stories.

Kailtyn and Kelsey posed on these turtles last year too. We had to walk over 20 blocks to find them!

Beach Buddies

Kelsey and David couldn't get enough snacks. Kelsey wanted chips all day. She asked for chips for breakfast and I told her she couldn't have any until we got on the beach. So, as soon as we got on the beach, she got chips.

Beach Days

Kaitlyn LOVES white powder doughnuts. She was happy to have one everyday! It's vacation - I had two everyday.

Look at Kelsey - ready for a wave to hit her!

David and Kelsey were best friends the whole time. One was lonely when the other wasn't around. It was so much fun to just watch them be kids together.

Here's Kelsey swimming with her floaties on - that's Kaitlyn standing on the ledge. They are gettig so big! Last year, Kaitlyn couldn't do any of this stuff. She wanted to do everything that Kelsey and David did this year.

Day at the Beach

Kelsey and Kaitlyn loved Virginia Beach. They loved playing in the sand and didn't mind the trek to the beach each day. It takes a lot of packing and planning to get down there each morning!

Waterpark Day!

We went to the waterpark on Thursday. The girls both loved getting in the water. Kaitlyn tries to follow Kelsey everywhere. We have to help her walk around - she went under a couple of times! She screams if we pick her up and points down. She wants to be in the water. Poor girl, she thinks she's 3 years old too! Kelsey has been to the park 4 times this year and she is finally getting brave enough to go to where the water sprays down on the kids all by herself. We had a fun day.

Sesame Place - Day 2

Here are the girls reading their maps.
Bob with his favorite guy!
Cookie!
A few seconds with Zoe before she took off to come back to me.
So big!

Dinner together

It was nice to have dinner at the hotel each night. Everyone had kids - no worries about crying, screaming children. Everyone had crying, screaming children. Kaitlyn liked the warm chocolate chip cookie dessert each night.

Fun at Sesame Place!

After some initial shyness in the morning, Kelsey was all out begging for hugs by afternoon. Kaitlyn waved and reached out but then burried herself in our arms when we got too close to the characters.

Excitement

It was easy to get up and get ready to go to the park in the morning. The girls liked having breakfast at the hotel. Mmmm doughnuts.

4 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed!

They even got Ryan involved in the fun. Cousins! They played non-stop the entire time we were at Sesame Place. They loved being in the hotel together.

Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?

Here are the girls during the first 30 seconds or so of the 4 hour drive. I was able to sit up front for about 3 hours and then I was in between the car seats entertaining the girls until we got to the hotel. Kelsey wanted Kaitlyn's blanket, Kaitlyn wanted Kelsey's blanket....and so on....and so on....

Congratulations Nana and Pappy!

We finally went out to celebrate Nana Sharon and Pappy Dave's retirement. They are officially retired! We all went to Rizzo's over Memorial Day weekend to celebrate. We will be going to Seven Springs for a weekend this summer to celebrate again. We should plan to celebrate every couple of months! Happy Retirement!
