White Christmas!

We had a snowstorm on the day after Christmas!  All the new toys had to wait to be played with until the sleds got some use!  I loved staying inside watching them and listening to them from the kitchen!  They had a great day with the neighborhood kids!

Hot chocolate and Christmas cookies!

Baking!

Katilyn got right to baking on the day after Christmas!  She made pretzels and even let Kelsey help out!

Nate loves when the girls leave their coats and sweatshirs on the floor in the closet.  He found a soft spot to nap!

Merry Christmas!

The girls found Santa Hats upstairs outside of their bedrooms when they woke up!  The were so excited to get downstairs!  We had monkey bread and lots of coffee!   They opened almost all of their presents before they found the iPods!  Very happy girls on Christmas morning!

The face painting kit was a hit with Kelsey and she wanted to look like a tiger before Nana and Pappy came over.  The girls were so happy to get a microscope and easy bake oven!  Fun times at Christmas!  Lots to do!

Christmas Eve

All dressed up and ready for Christmas Eve.

Kelsey played Away in a Manger for the Church on Christmas Eve.  She did really well!  She had it completely memorized and she did a great job!  She looked like such a big girl walking up to the piano and back to the pew.  So mature!  What a talented little girl we have!  So proud of her!
The girls both participated in the Nativity play.  Kaitlyn was an Angel and Kelsey was the star of Bethlehem.  They had a great time!  Kaitlyn loved being an angel!

All of the children participated in children's choir.  Go Tell It On The Mountain
Time to go to BED!  Santa is on his way!

Presents with Nana and Pappy and Cousins!

We all had fun watching Nana and Pappy Dave open their apple tv and squirrel feeder.  Lots of laughs!
Bob enjoyed time with his favorite "people."

Christmas presents with Grandma and Pappy Bob

We exchanged presents a little early this year with Grandma and Pappy Bob.  They had an important trip to take to North Carolina to spend Christmas with their newest grandchild and first grandson!  The girls loved opening their presents early and we had to open everything up right away!  Lalaloopsy for Kaitlyn and a telescope for Kelsey!

Christmas Cookies

We finally got to decorate some Christmas cookies!  Lots of icing and sprinkles to go around.  The girls like to decorate the sugar cookies.  They love to eat up the peanut butter kiss cookies.  We went through two batches of peanut butter kiss cookies over the holiday break...mmmmmm.

Christmas Carolling

We went Christmas Carolling with 100 students from the girl's elemenary school this week. We rode a bus to our downtown and stood on the steps by the big tree and then went to The Meadows to sing for Mr. Meadows and the town!  The girls sang and really enjoyed riding the bus around town!

When we got back to the school, Santa arrived on his sleigh with a little help from a fire truck and a few police officers.  He stayed and talked to all of the students!  We had cookies and hot chocolate and then headed home for bed!

Crayon Decorations!

We got together with David and Ryan to make some Christmas Balls with crayon colors!  We used a hair dryer to melt bits of crayons inside of the glass balls and then create a swirl of color inside of each ball.  They all liked the craft and had fun melting their crayons!
