Easter Time!

Kelsey, Kaitlyn and I went to the mall on Saturday. We ate lunch at the food court, shopped at Old Navy (they had movies and face painting in the store!), stood in line for 40 minutes to get balloon hats, rode the train, and then said hi to the Easter Bunny! All in just 2 1/2 hours!
No crying! They gave him high fives! They told him Happy Easter! Amazing.

St. Patrick's Day Fun

After the party, Kirstin and I had a green beer toast.
Kelsey and Kaitlyn with some friends from my school and cousins!

Kaitlyn sneaking snacks!

Kelsey loved taking everyone up to see her room. Here she is with Maddie and Alina.

The kids all made silly puddy! Later they had Shamrock shakes and snacks. They all danced, ran around and played for a little over an hour!

Swimming

Bob came swimming with us last Sunday night. The girls smiled the whole time they were in the pool.
Kaitlyn loves the water. She doesn't mind if her head bobs under and she is very brave about jumping off the edge! No fear at age 2.

Kelsey has a little more fear at age 3. She has her board or floaties at all times!

Outside!

Building buddies. They all had fun playing with big legos out on the deck.
happy to be outside!

Ryan weighs the same as Kaitlyn now! She's so tiny. We knew he'd catch up with her one day...she better look out.

Kelsey and David were hunting for ants.

Warm Weather!

Here are the girls on the firetruck on the playground at the preschool where I work. It was so warm this weekend. We went out to my preschool, then to McDonalds and off to another park. We were outside all day!

If it was up to her...

Kaitlyn was ignored a little bit today, while I was taking care of Kelsey. Kelsey had a stomach bug and fever. While I was getting things situated with Kelsey (soda, ice water, specific blankets that she wanted, specific movie that she wanted, specific pillow that she needed, etc.), Kaitlyn got in the fridge and took it upon herself to make a snack - hershey syrup.
None of it was funny to Kelsey. She is so sad when she is sick. She was on the couch all day with her bucket- with some changes of pajamas and blankets after each time she threw up. Poor thing.
Kaitlyn dealt with the situation in her own way - hershey syrup!

Winter Fun

I am glad our basement isn't finished every winter! Kelsey and Kaitlyn get to ride their bikes, play in their cars and run around. Kelsey had fun riding her bike and scooter over this pop paper from packages. It sounded like fireworks going off!

We have made some Sunday night trips to the pool at the Y. Here are the girls in the new locker room. It's all brand new. We love the warm water pool.

Here they are having breakfast in bed - my bed. I've got the tv. Gotta have cartoons when you eat breakfast in bed.

This is our indoor sandbox - rice box. They like to take off their socks and walk in it. It gets all over the place. I hear it when I vacuum for weeks but it keeps them entertained!

Show and Tell

Kelsey took Samantha for show and tell on Friday. She was very excited to take her to school. We practiced what she would tell everyone about Samantha. On the way home from school, she told me that she forgot to tell them that Samantha was from Santa. She is such a thinker. She

"C'mon Kaitlyn, Let's go wrestle"

I was folding laundry when I heard Kelsey invite Kaitlyn to go wrestle in my bedroom. I ran over to my bedroom to break up the match but they were having too much fun. Kaitlyn can sing 5 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed.
