you scream, I scream, we all scream for...

Look how happy Kelsey is to share a taste of her rainbow sprinkles with Kaitlyn .. this is immediately after she took a taste of Kaitlyn's chocolate sprinkles. As it turns out, they all taste the same.

Turtles!

Kelsey demanded that we walk to the turtles on our next to last night to get pictures.

growing up!

This was the first time in many years that we didn't have a pack-n-play! The girls slept together in the queen sized bed at the hotel! I layed in between them until they fell asleep and then they were out. They slept all the way through the night twice. The other 3 nights, they woke up because somebody bumped into somebody else! We just switched them and put one with me and one with Bob and it all worked out until morning! It was nice to skip the pack-n-play set up. We also got to skip the diaper bag!

can't stop adding pictures to the blog...Beach Fun!

Kelsey really got into the ocean this year and had fun chasing waves and even jumping the little ones!

Beach Fun!

Kaitlyn with her sandcrab. She loved using her shovel to dig these little guys up and give them to me!

Ocean Fun!

posing on the beach

Here's Kelsey inside of the giant seashell. Kaitlyn fell and skinned her elbow right before her turn to get into the seashell.

beach beauties!

Out to the beach!

Finally, out of the car after the 7 hour trip to the beach! We went right down to say hi to the ocean. We had great weather and lots of good times at the beach.

Aunt Michelle and Aunt Karen

Aunt Michelle, Uncle Marco, Aunt Karen and Uncle Philip came to visit last weekend. The girls had fun playing at their Grandma and Pappy Bob's house. Kaitlyn wasn't too into having her picture taken. We'll try again next month in Chicago at Aunt Karen's wedding!

Buddy Day

Ryan's first ride on the turtle.
Happy and Kissed.

The girls gave Ryan lots of kisses on the Merry go Round.

Here's David saving Kelsey. They had fun dragging each other around.

trying out dance class

Kelsey is trying out dance class this week at a summer workshop. They give a little trial at ballet, tap, and acro each day. So far, she likes it! We'll see how she feels in the fall! She says she wants to go to class but doesn't want to be in a show.

spider man gift

David got some new spiderman underwear and gave a pair to Kelsey. Why don't they make spiderman underwear for girls? So, Kelsey chose to wear them on her head on Saturday night. Our little funny girl. Kaitlyn stood on the ladder and wouldn't let anyone climb it all night!

Autism Walk!

We went to the ball park for the Autism walk on Saturday. Maureen did a great job organizing our team, getting us all together for a team picture and getting us team t-shirts! Thanks Maureen!!!

While we were at the walk, something new happened! I took the girls to use the restroom and they went in on their own. Kelsey likes to have "privacy" and Kaitlyn has started copying this attitude. So, for the first time ever, I stood outside and they took care of themselves (mostly). I was so astounded by this new independence that I took a pic of their little dangling feet. Growing up!

Geoffrey from Toys R Us was at the Walk.

School's out!

We went to Chuck E. Cheese this weekend with David and Ryan. David stayed over at our house and went to Kelsey's swim lesson and then to the Autism Walk!

Sesame Place - warm day!

Our second day was a warm day! We rode all the rides, climbed in the net area, watched the parade and enjoyed the characters.

Hotel Fun

The cousins got to swim, play with play doh, watch movied and jump on the beds at the hotel. Oh, did I mention that Kaitlyn vomitted in the car the first night on the way to dinner and spent the first night with a fever with me? I have now learned to always have detergent, towels, motrin, and fabreze in the car. Luckily, the hotel had a laundry room. It was her first day off of the antibiotic from her ear infections, we thought she was healthy as could be. Those toddlers really can trick you...!
