The girls and I had movie night this week to watch Sleeping Beauty. The girls and their bitties got dressed up for movie night in their matching jammies. Kaitlyn was soooo happy to get Kelsey's old bitty baby jammies. She was really happy when Kelsey took them out of the drawer and told her that she could have them. I think the fact that Kelsey got her own brand new pair, helped her share her old ones -- but still it was nice-- .Sunday, December 28, 2008
Sleeping Beauty Movie Night.
I think the fact that Kelsey got her own brand new pair, helped her share her old ones -- but still it was nice-- .Grandma and Pappy Bob come to visit.
Kaitlyn took a lot of rides on her little worm on Christmas night. She got her jammies on and rode all around.
Kelsey got roller skates from her grandparents. Kaitlyn couldn't help but try them out too! Kelsey wanted to ride the worm and Kaitlyn wanted to skate! Shocking! They are so funny.
Here's Grandma giving Kelsey a quick skating lesson. I think she'll have a good time practicing in the basement so she is set to go for summer time in the driveway!Nana and Pappy Dave come to visit
Kaitlyn kept Pappy Dave busy at dinner. She constantly demanded more mashed potatoes. She ate really well! She drank her apple juice from a wine glass. Fancy pants.
Here's Kelsey clinking my glass in a toast. She ate lots of corn and potatoes. Maybe 3 bites of ham. She was so excited when my parents came that she ran to the bathroom and literally fell in the toilet and soaked her skirt. She changed her clothes. Thanks to our friends, we had a few extra holiday outfits for her to put on! These things happen when you are 3 years old!
Kaitlyn liked taking care of all of the bags.More present time pictures! I can't stop.
The girls were so excited about their mermaid dolls that they ran to the tub. Kaitlyn kept saying "tubby" so they got a Christmas morning bath! Kaitlyn got a new bathtub boat, bathtime Elmo and a mermaid. She loved being in the tub.
Hungry Hippos! So far, we have only lost 1 marble.
Princess Robe. Isn't she adorable!?Christmas Morning
Kaitlyn got a Kirsten doll from Santa this year. She's a little too young (way too young) but Kelsey got one too and Santa knows better than to get one for Kelsey and not Kaitlyn. Thanks for our special friends out there for passing along their beautiful dolls for the girls to love and enjoy. They will be well taken care of in our home.
Kelsey was soo excited. She peeked over the railing from upstairs and came to our room screaming: "Santa brought me a big girl doll!" She loved her doll and all of her presents.
Kaitlyn sharing a cookie with Kirsten.
Helping each other nicely. Kelsey liked being in charge - shocking I know - and handing out all of the present for each of us to open. She made sure that Bob and I got to open some in between all of their gifts.
Kelsey got a Samantha doll. She calls her "Sam" because she has a friend at school with the same name. She started calling her that immediately. I didn't understand and I kept correcting her until I realized that it's her doll! Even though it's kind of my doll too. I think I wanted the dolls just as much as the girls. I dressed them in their nightgowns and put them to bed last night. December 23rd - Randazzo, Lenhart and Pappy Oscar Party!
These pictures were acting up and I couldn't get them to upload to blogger until I went into adobe and exported them out at a smaller image size. Sorry for the delay. This is Kelsey hugging Aunt Michelle. At the end of the night, she picked Aunt Michelle to put her to bed. Aunt Michelle did a good job helping her brush, flush and complete all of the other bedtime rituals - Thanks Aunt Michelle!
Pappy "Pirate" Oscar. Kelsey got out some of her halloween and dress up costumes while everyone was here. Kaitlyn actually wore this wig for a little while during the party. Crazy girls, crazy pappy.Saturday, December 27, 2008
Christmas Time Parties!
Christmas Cookies
"hot, mommy, cookies hot" Kaitlyn is really starting to talk a lot lately. Here's Kaitlyn blowing on the hot cookies while Kelsey strikes a pose.Tuesday, December 16, 2008
Good Morning Girls

Here are two happy girls sitting together at breakfast. They were being so nice to each other. Kelsey's new thing is to move the chairs to sit right beside Kaitlyn. She also moves Kaitlyn's chair to be closer to her chair. In this one, they are sharing a chair. Could they be any closer?

Christmas Party Time
This picture is out of order but I liked it so much that I had to stick it in the blog. She loved getting a piglet from Santa. Her cheeks look chubby in this picture. She is so cute.
We all went up to visit Kirstin, Paul, David and Ryan last night. It was Paul's company Open House. We had fun taking a tour of the new building! Kaitlyn clung to me or Nana all night.
Nana got her birthday gift a little early so we could all be there to give it to here. Something fun to use on her trip to Patsy's Restaurant in New York. Have some strawberries for dessert Nana! Kelsey stole Kaitlyn's spot on Nana's lap to give her the card.
Kaitlyn loved hanging out in the theater room with all of the recliners. A bunch of kids watched Alvin and the Chipmunks in there.Christmas Tree Time!
Kelsey finished up the decorating with me after Kaitlyn went to bed. She was very happy to have a "beautiful" tree. When I asked her what Santa was going to say about our tree, she said "he is going to say What a beautiful tree!"
Kelsey pretended to cut the tree down all by herself!
It was about 20 degrees when we went to get our tree. Kaitlyn lasted about an hour and then she was done. I didn't get pics of the horse sleigh this year but we did have a nice ride on the sleigh to get to our tree. We literally, cut down the first tree we saw. We got off the sleigh ride and walked less than 10 feet to find our tree! It was bitter cold!!!Monday, December 1, 2008
Styles by Kelsey
Here's Kelsey blow drying Kaitlyn's hair last night. They took turns getting each other ready for bed. Kelsey just recently started letting me blow her hair dry at night- she used to just run around until it was dry. I don't think it has occurred to her yet that this helps me get her to bed earlier. Anyway, they both have beautiful hair. My little blonde and brunette babies.
