Halloween Playdate!

Kelsey and Kaitlyn went to a Halloween Playdate this week at Michael, Matthew and Anthony's house! They had a great time!
The kids had fun eating pizza and cookies and then playing with all of the toys! Kelsey really liked the play violin at their house! Kaitlyn really loved Anthony! She wanted to touch him, pet him, and just stare at him!

Party Girls

Kaitlyn and Kelsey were little dancing queens while we were out at the Bavarian. They danced and ran around until about 10:00.

Octoberfest time!

Silly Girl!

Happy Birthday David!

David was sooo excited to get this huge dinosaur gift! He jumped up and ran over and yelled Thank You Mommy I love it!!! and then shot back fast when he realized that I wasn't Mommy! He loved all of his dinosaur presents!

Octoberfest. Yumm

Ryan doesn't look quite as excited as Kaitlyn for the sleepover!

Happy Day! Kelsey and David were very excited for the sleepover that night!

Celebrating David's birthday with a drink. Octoberfest time!

Pumpkin Festival

Hayride. We waited in line for about 10 minutes and then Kaitlyn had to go to the bathroom. Yelling "I'm going to pee my pants" after I asked if she could hold it until after the ride. So, we got out of line and walked to the Y and then got back in line for the next ride. A good day, but you just can't force a 3 year old to go before they leave the house. It's the one thing they alone control!
Kelsey and Kaitlyn always like crafts and they spent most of the time at the festival working on acorns and birdfeeder crafts.

Cinderella

Kaitlyn's friend, Alissa, had a Princess Tea Party for her birthday. All of the girls were asked to come over dressed as princesses. Pretty Girl! I dropped her off for the party and she was a little nervous about that but afterward she told me that she wants to have a party with her friends with no mommies at the party except for me! She liked being a big girl and going to the party...she loved that it was all about her.."not Kelsey!" She said "Not Kelsey" a lot that day!

Dance Class!

Kelsey dances for 30 minutes at acro and then an hour at ballet/tap every Monday! She hasn't complained even one day about being too tired. She's really enjoying her classes this year. Acro is her favorite and she's getting really flexible! She almost does a split down to the floor!

Kaitlyn's in line in the bright blue leotard! She's been great for the last 4 classes..the first 3 were somewhat frustrating, exhausting, and um, well, exasberating (that's a word right?). She wanted to go to class, talked about going to class, got dressed for class, got her ponytail in for class but then REFUSED to go into the class. I looked like an insane parent forcing my 3 year old to go to dance class for 3 weeks in a row and then after much prodding, questioning and explaining, she started going into class...hope it keeps up. Kaitlyn keeps us on our toes.

Trip to the Dentist for Kaitlyn!

Dr. DeLeo counted Kaitlyn's teeth. Later, she told me that she liked the girl at the office but not that boy. She doesn't want to see the boy dentist again. I told her that she doesn't have to see him unless she gets a cavity. I think her teeth are going to get brushed a lot!
Kaitlyn sat in the dentist's chair and had her teeth counted for the first time! Next time we go, they'll count them again and then the next trip they will be cleaned. She loved the rinse cup and really wanted to try it out! Kelsey was a great big sister and assured Kaitlyn that the cleaning just "tickles" a little.

Autumnfest

Kelsey was really into posing for a picture with Kaitlyn. She gave all kind of directions...which were completely ignored by Kaitlyn. Cute girls.

I told the girls they should stop eating before they got sick. Silly faces.

Kelsey and Kaitlyn enjoyed these haybale mazes. They had a tall and short maze. It was fun to sit and watch them get stuck and keep trying. Kelsey kept asking us for directions.

Last Night at The Drive In

We went to the last night at the drive in and these girls are all talk...they said they'd stay up and watch all 3 movies, they said they'd eat all the popcorn, they said they'd eat all the candy, they fell asleep and we left after the first show. That cool air really puts them to sleep. Better luck next year. We really enjoyed the drive in this summer.

Chipmunk fun

When it was time to let the little guy loose, he ran out of the trap so fast that Kaitlyn didn't get a chance to say goodbye. She immediately started sobbing! Nana and Pappy have told her that chippy has been back looking for her. Hope he turns up again.
Kelsey and Kaitlyn were excited when Pappy Dave caught a chipmunk that had gotten stuck up in the rain spout. Kaitlyn fed the little guy some peanuts and wanted to keep him forever.
