Pool Party!

 The girls had a great day at our neighbor's pool party this weekend. They swam from 2:00 until almost 9:00 at night.  We had David and Ryan for the night and they were able to join in on the fun! 

Fox Gets a Job Starring "Narrator #3"

 Kelsey participated in Little Lights Summer Drama Camp this week.  The 1st to 2nd grade groups performed 3 shows.  Kelsey was Narrator #3 for the Fox Gets a Job show.  She memorized her lines (even though she had the papers in front of her) and she spoke very well for her performance. She also got to watch her friends perform in their shows.  As it turned out, Ivy was Narrator #3 for her story too!  Two great performers!

Lake Raystown

 David enjoyed the trampoline wtih Conner and Cody.  Kelsey decided it was a little too scary and Kaitlyn choose to stick to the smaller trampoline.  The lake water was cold but it was such a hot day that we all enjoyed it!

 We had lots of kids to play! Desiree, Angie and Kirstin were all along for the fun! 

Time to go!

On our last morning, we had breakfast at the hotel before starting the long drive home.  The kids were happy to get to sit at their own table!  Good times and fun conversations....

Last Day at the Beach!

 Ryan fell at the indoor pool on Friday night and spent a few hours in the ER getting stitches in his chin!  He was asleep for the stitches and won the award for best ER patient!  Never even felt the needle!  That's a relaxed kid!

 He recovered well enough to party by the pool and join the hula hoop competition with Kelsey!

 WHAT!  WHY do YOU have Pappy Dave's headphones!!!  Kaitlyn wanted to wear them all week and didn't like sharing them with anyone else!

They all won sand dollar awards for participating in the limbo and relay races on the last day!

Friday Beach Day and Family Pictures!

 We had another great beach day and then we all met in the lobby to get a family picture before dinner!  Marriott offered a free family picture!  Then we bought the whole disc of pics for just 5.00.  Thanks Marriott! Nice Pics!

Wings and Cheeseburgers after a day of waves!

Look at Kaitlyn!  She's ready to take on the next wave before Bob! 

They found this little area with fish at an inlet near our hotel.  They had fun trying to catch the little fish!

Kaitlyn loved having wings for dinnner!  We ordered her an appetizer of wings for dinner on 2 nights during vacation.  Both times the waitress seemed shocked that this little blonde beauty could eat hot wings.  She can! 

Kelsey stuck with cheeseburgers and chicken! 

Relaxation Continues....

 Kaitlyn really enjoyed her poolside breaks!  She borrowed Pappy Dave's headphones to listen to some tunes on the hammock. 

 Kelsey ran to paricipate in all of the kids club games by the pool.  On this day, she did relay races with David and Ryan. Kaitlyn watched for awhile and then finally got involved with the game!

 They all made shark tooth necklaces with the kids club by the pool.  Kaitlyn liked wearing hers on her head :)

 We tried out Joe's Crab Shack on this night.  The girls enjoyed sight seeing with their snacks.

At the end of the night, we let the girls run through the fountain!  Kelsey got soaked and I was worried that she was going to cry but she came running over laughing out loud!  So glad it was still hot enough for her to dry off!

Digging Holes and visit to Barefoot Landing

 Lots of time digging holes today!

We went for a visit to Barefoot Landing tonight. Kelsey was not impressed with this balloon lady - her balloon popped before the end of the night and Kelsey said she was the worst balloon lady ever!  Funny, but Kelsey does have a lot of animal balloon experience.  

Ocean, Pool, Kitchen, Dinner, Legos and More!

 Kaitlyn and David were great wave jumpers, divers and swimmers.  They loved it.  They would stand and watch the wave coming and yell out if it was a jumper, a swimmer or a diver.  They got knocked down and came right back up again!

 Kelsey said she liked riding the waves out better than jumping.  She stuck closer to shore and took a lot of rides on her boogie board.

 We loved these little flags on our chairs.  You just put you flag up anytime you need something!  Beverages and food poolside.  Very relaxing way to spend an afternoon

 Kids in the Kitchen was a great kids activity.  They all loved making cookies and decorating them!  I loved eating the left overs all week!

 More Pool Time and then dinner above the pool at the outdoor restaurant.  Relaxing.

 We walked through Broadway at the Beach and spent a lot of time in the lego center.  It wasn't a store, just a place to play with legos!
