We Are,... Penn State!

I was 18 when I went to my first Penn State Game. It was a big deal! Kelsey was 4 when she went to her first Penn State Game! It was a fun weekend event. I think she'll realize that it was a big deal years from now! For my first game, I didn't get to tailgate, I sat in the student section, I bought a drink and a hot dog. For Kelsey's first game, she tailgated, got her face painted, entered through the club seats section, took the elevator to the club seats, hugged the nittany lion, posed with the cheerleaders, ate PSU cookies and snacks at a table overlooking Mt. Nittany, and cheered on State! She had an awesome time!

It was chilly in the shade. Kelsey and David stole clothes from Kirstin and Paul!

Kaitlyn's Ryan

Kaitlyn had a great time playing with her cousin Ryan this Friday night and all day Saturday. She was (amazingly) open to sharing her toys and helping Ryan play! She gave him lots of toys and held his hand to take him down for breakfast. She gave him a toy for the pack-n-play and a blanket. It was fun to watch her be in charge for a change. She loved it.

Dance Class

The girls started dance class this week. Kelsey goes first at 4:30 for preballet/tap and then Kaitlyn goes at 5 for tiny tot ballet/tap. They were really excited to go. Bob and I both went to watch the first class. Kaitlyn had an awesome time running around the dance studio. She made faces in the mirror, climbed on the bar and slid all across the floor in her tights. It's kind of an "independent study" class for Kaitlyn - she just does whatever she wants while the class is sitting in a group, walking in a line, etc. Not sure what the future holds for this ballerina...
Kelsey loved dance class. She followed directions, pointed her toe, stood in line, did it all! She loved every minute!
Kelsey was excited to have class with her friend from daycare. They don't go to the same daycare anymore so it was nice for them to have dance together.

Kelsey got to see the twins. She really looks up to them and is always impressed with my stories about what they are doing at dance class. I think it helped her to know that they go to dance class too! They were in another class at the same time as Kelsey.

Kaitlyn got to hang out with the twin's brother while we waited for Kelsey to finish and her class to start.

Cousins and second cousins

We are...Penn State! The girls and I went to PSU to see Chris, Jess, and Josh while they were up for a PSU game. I told Kelsey that Chris was my cousin just like David is her cousin but I don't think she completely caught on to that concept. She just liked that Chris gave her a ride on his shoulders on the way to the creamery! He was a good guy in her eyes after that.

Little Nittany Lion Fans

All of the girls were impressed with Josh's Wii sports talents. They were mesmerized.

Parker's Visit

We got all of the kids on the Nittany Lion with some help. They all had fun climbing, it was the posing that we couldn't get everyone to do...except Kelsey. She loved posing on the lion.

Kelsey and Kaitlyn got to spend some time with their second cousin, Parker. He was visiting PA before a trip to the beach with our cousins and Aunt and Uncle. Kelsey and Kaitlyn wanted to play with all of the baby toys. They all had fun playing at Aunt Kirstin's house.

Last Buddy Day at Delgrossos!

Little Fish. Kaitlyn loved the water. She is so excited to go to swim lessons! ---hopefully the excitement can last until January when she actually starts the lessons.
Ryan ate his popsicle better than any of the kids. He didn't mind getting messy at all.

By the end of summer Kelsey wasn't afraid to stand under the water falls!
