Visit to the Lake

Pretty Girl
Pretty Girl

SpongeBob Ice Cream on a stick! The girls were happy that Nana and Pappy stopped by the Lake to say hello.

The girls and I went to Lake Raystown for a day during the heat wave! They had fun walking around, helping a group of kids pick up tons of seaweed (tree weeds?) and floating around in rafts, on floaties, and on their rings floaties.

More Park Days! Hot fun in the summertime!

Cousins
1st time on the Pirate Ship ride! Pharoah's Fury!

Fun at the waterpark with friends, Connor and Noah.

1st time down the big slides! Kelsey is now above the 42 inch minimum to ride the big slides! We can only do it when we have someone to watch Kaitlyn while we go down with her so it's a special event! She loved it. Kaitlyn wasn't jealous at all. She actually said that she doesn't want to go down the slides!

Gigantic Sparklers!

Kelsey liked the huge sparklers but she thought they were "stinky."
Kaitlyn was a wild one and I had to keep close to her with these gigantic things! She was out of control - which is not that surprising!

Pool Time!

mmmm, treats at the pool. Gotta love nutty buddies.
Kelsey was really afraid to try this out and it took me begging, pleading and eventually going down the slide in front of her to show her how much fun it was! She loved it after she tried it out!

Late Night on the Wacky Worm!

We got in the car to leave at 11:00 and sat in our space for ten minutes with no chance to even try to get moving out of the parking lot, so, we gave up! We got out of the car and went back to the park to ride rides! We ended up staying out until midnight! The girls were so excited when I turned around in the car and said "Do you want to just go and ride rides again?" They thought it was really neat to be at the park "all night."

Watching the show from their chairs! Kaitlyn kept saying "Take a picture of that one!" I tried!

The girls wanted me to take pictures of all of the fireworks. They really liked the show and the music to go with it.
We had some nice VIP treatment for the fireworks show at Delgrosso's this year! It was nice to run into Bob three or four times and get to eat dinner together at the sauce factory.

Fourth of July with the "Redheads!"

Scott's dad became very popular once he got out the fire! Nothing like a blow torch to light up the sparkler for the kids!

The girls had a great time at the party. Eating barbecue chips, watching fireworks and playing with the kids. Kelsey was especially happy when she got to play inside and see Nick and Noah's toys. She called the boys "the redheads" because that's what she heard their mom saying! She asked about the "redheads" the next week at Bob's work picnic.

The girls kept sneaking peeks into the neighbors backyard - they were lighting up fireworks early on -- they had fun playing with all of the kids.

Stranded at the Drive In

Sweet, sleeping girls
Excited for the show!

Yummy Dunkin Doughnuts (coffee for me!).

The girls were really happy to go to the drive in for the second time this summer to see Toy Story 3 and Karate Kid! They stayed awake all through Toy Story and then begged me to let them stay to watch Karate Kid at 11:30. We stayed and they both fell asleep in about 20 minutes, So I sat and watched Karate Kid until 1:30 AM with two sweet, sleeping girls. Exhausting but fun!

Buddy Day at the Park!

Desiree had baby Wyatt just 2 days after our day at the park! The kids all had fun splashing in the waterpark and riding the rides! Can't wait to go see Wyatt!
Kaitlyn was so excited to share her cotton candy!

Getting Ready for Kindergarten!

We went to lunch at Kelsey's new school to help get her ready for the cafeteria routine! She loves her new school and is excited about the new playground!
