Birthday Girl

Kelsey enjoyed looking at all of her pictures. She wanted to know who drew each one.
Poor Kaitlyn. She wants to be five so badly. She had a rough day but seemed to be happy more than sad. She cried the whole time we sang happy birthday. Her day will come. We will probably end up renting horses and getting a monkey for her 5th birthday! She'll have all of this fun too!
Loving her Ginger Cat and carrier! Kelsey was so happy to have the American Girl set!

So excited to put a cast and give cruches to her dolls!

Woo Hoo! Pixos car kit and rock star clothes for the dolls! Yay! She wore her ballerina necklace to school on Monday!

Who doesn't love Polly Pocket!? So much fun!

Tickle Attack!

FIVE!

Party Time!

Kaitlyn made sure that she got a blue bottle pop. She loves them! mmmmm Sugar...
Birthday Girl. She loved getting her picture taken!

Michael is ready to turn 5 himself! Off to kindergarten next year for Michael and Kelsey!

All of her guests colored a special picture for Kelsey to keep in her memory book. Kelsey looked through all of them that night and wanted to know who drew each one.

Kelsey spent a lot of time signing all of the special crayon pens for her party guests. The stars all said "You Rock" with a thank you note from Kelsey. The girls both helped fill up the goody bags too. Kaitlyn made sure to find one with a blue candy for herself!

Hannah Montana Cupcake Cake! It was so easy to pull apart and serve!

Happy Birthday! Kelsey was so happy and excited about her birthday party. She talked and talked about it all week. She got so excited everytime somebody called to say they could attend. "That's so cool mommy!" She said, about Max coming to her party. "Oh Yeah!" She was so happy to have her friends come to the party! She had 22 guests!

Getting Kelsey's Ears Pierced...Or Maybe Not!

No way.
three tries, and 1 hour 45 minutes later and we are still wanting them pierced but just don't want it to hurt....

Um, maybe not. "I want to get them pierced, I just don't want it to hurt" "I really want them pierced, I just don't want them to use the pinchy things."

That's her, running to Claires to get her ears done. Super excited!

Here she is excited and happy to be going to get her ears pierced.

Spring!

Kelsey spent all day outside on Sunday! Kailtyn wasn't feeling very well but she went out for a few hours to play. They wanted to do water balloons and buckets of water outside! I told them to wait a few more months for that!
Kailtyn can get right up on the swingset and play at David and Ryan's house now. She was being a really good cousin to Ryan on Saturday. She even put his shoes on for him!

Moon sand...goodtimes outside!

Kelsey and David had a lot of races. They both ran right out of their shoes a few times!

Pinkalicious Cupcakes and Show!

Here's Kaitlyn doing her Bill Murray impersonation. This funny face reminds me of Bill Murray in Caddy Shack. She is a clown!
Kelsey was happy to have pink cupcakes before we went to see the Pinkalicious show. She had the whole book memorized and could tell the entire story to my mom!

Kailtyn was pretty excited to go to the show too! Her favorite part was when the little girl has to eat all green food. She kept asking me "Is she going to eat green now?"

Birthday Cake for Grandma!

Kelsey and Kaitlyn helped to make a birthday cake for Bob's mom last week. They were both very excited to share the cake. Kaitlyn sat at dinner and said "I have a surprise for you! It's a CAKE!" They loaded it up with lots of icing and Kelsey did a nice job using the icing decorator to make a smiley face on top of the cake.

Snow/Slush People!

We built snowmen after school this week! We hadn't built a snowman yet this year and I thought we better do it before it all melts! It was really slushy and Kelsey and I were soaked and a little muddy by the end of the night! They made a Kelsey and a Kaitlyn snow lady!

Kaitlyn's playdate.

We had a babydoll birthday party - Thanks for the idea Maureen!. The girls got their babies ready for the first half hour by giving them baby baths, dressing them up and putting princess make up on the dolls. Then we had cupcakes and ice cream in the party room! The babies wore princess tiara's. It was pretty cute.
Kaitlyn had a playdate with a friend from her daycare. She was so happy and excited to show her friend her toys and her room. At dinner she asked me: "Where is Ava going to sleep?" I think she thought we were having a sleepover! She loved everyminute of her playdate! Kelsey and Paige got to play too! They were "in charge" of the little girls.
