Water Day at David and Ryan's house

Here's Kelsey helping Kaitlyn ride down the slip n slide. They really liked it.

Happy Faces!
They had a pirate pool, slip-n-slide, sidewalk chalk, tattoo parlor, and snack time with David and Ryan while I went to the autism conference this week. Fun times in State College.

Visit to Michelle and Marco's house!

We went for a visit to see Michelle and Marco last weekend. The girls had a great time going places, playing with the neighbor kids, and hanging out with their Aunt and Uncle.

Domino's Petting Farm - Trip to Michigan

Here we all are on the hayride...err straw ride... at Domino's petting farm in Michigan. It was a big barn, pond, and pasture with lots of farm animals. Everyone had a good time, even the adults!
This pig got a lot of attention. Not sure how big this guy is, but it was unbelievable!

Kelsey and Kaitlyn loved feeding the goats little bites of carrots. Kaitlyn really got into it. She didn't mind getting licked by the goat or anything!
Here's Kaitlyn feeding the goat in the barn.
Kelsey got to go on a pony ride. Check out how cool she is with her pig tails and lollipop.
More goats outside! Kaitlyn was loving it!

Music in Plymouth!

Here are Kelsey, Kaitlyn, Bob and Michelle, checking out the fountain during the concert in Plymouth during our trip to Canton, MI.

Girly Girls

Getting ready to soak their feet for their first pedicures. Girly girl time.
Here's Kaitlyn checking out her toes after her first little pedicure and manicure. Little pink piggies
Kelsey picked purple for her toes. Big surprise! She loves purple. I wonder why?

Happy Retirement!

Happy Retirement to Nana Sharon and Pappy Dave. Thanks for taking us to Seven Springs for over 30 years (that's right Dad, 30 years) so that we would know where to take you to celebrate your retirement! Everyone had a great time. We got so lucky and had good weather and good times. Let's keep celebrating your retirement every year!

Campfire

It was an action packed day - alpine slide, eurobungy, bowling, horseback riding, feeding fish, dinner, walk, and then a campfire to toast marshmallows. Kaitlyn, Mom, and I are the only people who ate the marshmallows. MMMMmmmm

Dessert

Kaitlyn was so good for our dinner at the lodge. I went up to the dessert bar and picked out the biggest cupcake for her to dig into after dinner. She was so happy. Doesn't she have the best smile?

B-Jay is on Vacation. Hello Cheryl.

Kelsey remembered the name of the horse that she rode last October (B-Jay or as she calls him "b-joe"). Anyway, the stable crew explained that B-jay was away on vacation (I'm not sure what that means but he still has a stall in the barn. Hope it's not some kind of permanent vacation.) So she rode "Cheryl." Doesn't seem like a horse name but oh well, she loved it.

Not for awhile...

Anyone want to explain to David, Kelsey and Kaitlyn that they can't go down the slide alone until they are 6 years old?

1st Ride on the Alpine Slide

Kaitlyn took her first ride on the Alpine Slide this weekend. She laughed and giggled. She wasn't afraid at all. Bob and I both got to take turns taking her down.

Eurobungy!!!

Here's Kelsey on the Eurobungy! We couldn't believe she was willing to get strapped in and try this! I had to really talk her into, explain it, tell her she could get off if she didn't like it, promise her a ride on a horse, etc... so she finally tried it. It helped that David was pretty excited to try it out. They did it 4 times. She loved it. The teenagers did somersaults on it and she wanted to do that but she just couldn't get flipped around. She tries so hard when she wants to do something. So much fun! If you click on the picture, you can see her facial expression a lot better. By the way, Kirstin and I did the Eurobungy too. It really was a lot of fun. Makes a 33 year old feel like a 3 year old again!

Kaitlyn's morning coffee

Here's Kaitlyn before her morning coffee
and then after. Happy girl. She loves sitting at a restaurant drinking out of every cup at the table. she says "wa wa" and points to the cups.

Seven Springs Weekend - Pool Time

We had the pool almost to ourselves on Friday night. We threw in our rafts, balls, noodles, and fish pool toys and got in the pool. Kaityln liked her raft and ball toys. Kelsey swam around with her floaties on chasing balls with all of us.
Kaitlyn liked the water play area with the fountains. The water was as hot as a hot tub. She had to keep going over and getting all of rafts and putting them in the water.
David liked the fountains too! Kelsey, David and Kaityln all ran around the water area together.

Dog Bath and oops...Kaitlyn Bath

Kelsey, Kaitlyn and I took Nate for a walk the other day. He got all dirty playing in the grass so we decided to give him a bath that night. The girls loved pouring full cups of water on little Nate.
Kaitlyn got really into it. She put her whole body into it and...
fell in! Poor thing. This was one of those times when she was crying but I knew she was okay and I just had to take a picture before I grabbed her - it was less than 2 seconds till I got her out and took off her clothes. She finished giving Nate a bath with Kelsey - out of the tub.

Nate just wished Bob would have given him a bath.

Water Day

Lots of water pictures this summer! Here's Kelsey and Kaitlyn at Delgrosso's. I took them by myself and they did great. Luckily, Kelsey is still afraid to go too far into the water park fountains and slides. She stayed close by me and Kaitlyn and crawled/swam around the water.

Delgrosso's Day with Daddy's Work

Kailtyn can ride all of the rides in Kiddie Land except the Helicopters - Kelsey's new favorite ride is the helicopters. I haven't gotten a picture of her on them yet, but I will.
Here's Kelsey on the flying fish. She saw a big girl put her hands up and now she loves to show off her bravery too!
Here's Kelsey with out neighbor, Paige. They were really happy to see each other. They rode lots of rides together. Here they are on the turtle ride.

Brothers and Sisters

Here's all of the brothers and sisters - Conner and Noah, Kelsey and Kaitlyn, and David and Ryan. Next time, we better get Cody and Sarah in on the fun. We went to PSU to feed the ducks.

Happy 4th of July!

Kelsey and Kaitlyn played with sparklers and bang snaps on the 4th. We had some other little fireworks and then we watched from fireworks from our deck. Kaitlyn didn't smile about the sparklers, she just stared in awe. Not sure what she thought of all of it. Kelsey's favorite thing to do was light the grass on fire with every sparkler.

Rock Star Hair!

Kelsey wanted to have "rock star" hair, so I braided it and then she slept all night in her braids. She liked the final, puffy, big hair result. Funny girls. Here they are in the backyard before sparkler time on the 4th of July.
