Late Night on the Wacky Worm!

We got in the car to leave at 11:00 and sat in our space for ten minutes with no chance to even try to get moving out of the parking lot, so, we gave up! We got out of the car and went back to the park to ride rides! We ended up staying out until midnight! The girls were so excited when I turned around in the car and said "Do you want to just go and ride rides again?" They thought it was really neat to be at the park "all night."

Watching the show from their chairs! Kaitlyn kept saying "Take a picture of that one!" I tried!

The girls wanted me to take pictures of all of the fireworks. They really liked the show and the music to go with it.
We had some nice VIP treatment for the fireworks show at Delgrosso's this year! It was nice to run into Bob three or four times and get to eat dinner together at the sauce factory.

Fourth of July with the "Redheads!"

Scott's dad became very popular once he got out the fire! Nothing like a blow torch to light up the sparkler for the kids!

The girls had a great time at the party. Eating barbecue chips, watching fireworks and playing with the kids. Kelsey was especially happy when she got to play inside and see Nick and Noah's toys. She called the boys "the redheads" because that's what she heard their mom saying! She asked about the "redheads" the next week at Bob's work picnic.

The girls kept sneaking peeks into the neighbors backyard - they were lighting up fireworks early on -- they had fun playing with all of the kids.

Stranded at the Drive In

Sweet, sleeping girls
Excited for the show!

Yummy Dunkin Doughnuts (coffee for me!).

The girls were really happy to go to the drive in for the second time this summer to see Toy Story 3 and Karate Kid! They stayed awake all through Toy Story and then begged me to let them stay to watch Karate Kid at 11:30. We stayed and they both fell asleep in about 20 minutes, So I sat and watched Karate Kid until 1:30 AM with two sweet, sleeping girls. Exhausting but fun!

Buddy Day at the Park!

Desiree had baby Wyatt just 2 days after our day at the park! The kids all had fun splashing in the waterpark and riding the rides! Can't wait to go see Wyatt!
Kaitlyn was so excited to share her cotton candy!

Getting Ready for Kindergarten!

We went to lunch at Kelsey's new school to help get her ready for the cafeteria routine! She loves her new school and is excited about the new playground!

Vacation Days!

Beach Beauties!

More Beach Days

Beach Days!

On the Road

On the road to VA Beach. Ready for vacation!

Rodeo!

Popcorn, cotton candy, lemonade, slushies, and nachos! Summer fun food!
The rodeo show was a lot of action. Bulls, wild horses, calf catching, roping and lots of fun with the rodeo clown!

Kaitlyn wanted cotton candy and Kelsey wanted silly bands. They both got what they wanted! Smiles all around!

Kaitlyn's horse was named

Pool Time with Parker!

We went over to a friend's house to swim and the girls were very impressed when Parker (7 years old) got ready to go to his baseball game. He really showed off his stuff by warming up outside and getting his picture taken with the girls. As we were leaving, Kelsey asked if we could go to one of Parker's games to watch him play. The girls were impressed.

Acro, Ballet, Tap and Jazz - Dance Camp!

The girls went to 3 days of dance camp in June to do some acro, ballet, tap and jazz. They loved wearing their new acro outfits handed down from Madeline and Alina! They also loved going to the Meadows to get ice cream after their class!

Chuck E. Cheese Party!

Kelsey and Max!
Kelsey and Kaitlyn had fun at Max's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. Max is one of Kelsey's best friends at school. They are always so happy to see each other in the morning! Unfortunately, they will be going to different Kindergartens but they have had a great time at daycare through the years!

Hot Day at the Autism Walk!

The Altoona School District Team enjoyed a hot summer day at the ballpark for the autism walk! Kelsey and Kaitlyn enjoyed the snacks and good times with the kids but only walked about 1 time around the ballpark! Maureen was our team captain and thanks to her hard work, we raised over 1,000.00 for Autism Speaks!

Tutti Fruitti at the Curve Game

Kaitlyn (obviously) was not crazy about the tutti fruity and wished she had just gotten the oreo and vanilla like she wanted!
We went to a curve game in June and the girls tried out the dip-n-dots for the first time. Kelsey picked tutti fruity and Kaitlyn wanted oreos and vanilla. Kaitlyn changed her mind when she heard Kaitlyn's order but then later regretted it. Poor Kaitlyn! The girls watched 2-4 innings at a time in between treats. That's pretty good compared to last year!
