Dance Time

A friend took this picture and shared it with me. How adorable is Kaitlyn? She did a beautiful job.
Kelsey did ballet, tap and acro for this night! Busy little legs! She did a beautiful job!

So happy to have a fan club!

Visit to Santa

Kaitlyn had a lot of explaining to do. She worked it out with Santa! Kaitlyn asked for candy (as usual) and American Girl doll stuff.
Kelsey asked for American Girl Stuff and told Santa that he could surprise her. I think she was afraid to be too specific and miss out on anything! I told her that sometimes Santa knows about toys that she's never even seen before!

Being such sweet sisters!

Pappy's Train

My dad set up his train this year! He built a stand and put it in the bedroom where the girls usually sleep. After the girls got over the initial shock of not having a bed available at Pappy and Nana's house, they really liked the train!
Travel in the city or switch and ride out to the country. Kelsey enjoyed putting people on for a ride!

Speed! Kaitlyn has a need for speed!

Gingerbread Men and Women

Bob's creation.
Our family of gingerbread people and a few trees, starts, etc...

Kelsey enjoyed eating them right away!

Kaitlyn poured on the sugar, icing and some hershey kisses. She gave one gingerbread woman big hershey kiss eyes - just glad they were the woman's eyes!

Gingerbread Village!

We made a Gingerbread village tonight. It has trees, animals and gingerbread houses (of course). The only concern the girls had was that the elves (who leave special gifts in the advent calendar) would eat the candy! The elves at one tiny piece of candy and I'm going to wait and see if they notice.

Christmas Card Creations

Kelsey and Kaitlyn are both getting into coloring lately. It's nice to see them concentrating on their work.

Christmas Tree!

Here's our tall tree before we put the ornaments on it! Slightly swaying into the window but perfect as I see it! I'm not even going to try to adjust this tree!

Nate has a love/hate relationship with the shop vac. He loves to hate it.

The reindeer kind of tried to attack Kaitlyn! It literally stuck its entire upper body out of the fence to get to her! She's such an animal lover! I didn't get a picture because I was scared Kaitlyn was going to be picked up!
Looking sly.

We got off of the horse carriage and found our tree within 20 steps! We were at the tree farm for exactly 37 minutes!

Happy Birthday to Ryan!

They all look like they're really into the game but this was actually during the t-shirt give-away! They loved the dancers, cheeleaders, and give-aways!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We all enjoyed a visit from Aunt Michelle and Uncle Marco.
Here's Kaitlyn teaching Pappy how to navigate the iPad.

Kelsey sang her Turkey song for everyone while pounding on her oatmeal canister drum from school!

Kelsey and Kaitlyn posed (sort of) in their pilgrim costumes. Kelsey brought her's home from Kindergarten and then we made one to match for Kaitlyn.

Marshmallow - Fudge stripe - Pilgrim Hats

Kaitlyn's shirt says 'This girl loves chocolate" She does!

We made Pilgrim hat desserts for Thanksgiving. Kelsey and Kaitlyn enjoyed dipping the marshmallows into the chocolate!

Happy Birthday to Paige!

Kelsey was getting really serious about this motorcycle game. She's getting a purple motorcycle when she's old enough....yikes. Kaitlyn had no idea what she was doing - she's practically sitting on the screen. She let me move her around.

Kelsey and Kaitlyn had a great time wishing their friend Paige a happy 5th birthday!

Two Little Turkeys!

"Look What I did?" says Kelsey and then 2 seconds later it's "Look what I did" from Kaitlyn and suddenly, I've got two mini Pappy Daves in my kitchen. little turkeys!

Kaitlyn had very strong feelings about using paint on her turkey.

Kelsey had homework for the second time in her kindergarten career! We needed to decorate a turkey for her class. So, of course Kaitlyn wanted her own turkey to work on too. We got feathers, string, glitter, rhinestones, paint, markers, wiggly eyes and fat pipecleaners to do the project. I loved it...I mean they loved it. The finished product included the picture of the girls with their crazy mustaches. Kelsey is thankful for her Nana, Grandma and then eventually she said her sister. Kaitlyn is thankful for Pez. - I'm working on that one..

Turkey Time - in the backyard?

It's getting to be Turkey Time for real around here! We had 9 turkeys in our backyard last week!

Visit Time!

Kelsey and Kaitlyn enjoyed a visit with Aunt Michelle, Uncle Marco, Aunt Karen and Uncle Philip last weekend!

More Candy!!

MORE CANDY!!! The floats all throw tons of candy. They all had fun grabbing tons of candy!
The girls were excited to see the horses and the dressed up dogs! Their favorites were the bands, dance groups and the float from the YMCA!
Kaitlyn enjoyed telling us how much the candy was with the microphone. I think it was all either 1.00 or 100.00 - funny kind of store.

Kaitlyn opened up a candy store in the dining room!

Lots of Pumpkin Art

This year we had lots of different pumpkins. We had ones with paint, markers, stickers, bendaroos and potato head pieces...oh and a carved pumpkin too! Fun Pumpkins.
