Dinosaur Day at the Carnegie Art and Natural History Museum!

Dinosaur Day in Pittsburgh. David was the family expert on dinosaurs. They all enjoyed learning about the dinosaurs - especially getting to see dinosaur poop!
David and Kelsey were together all day. They're always holding hands or putting their arms around each other. They just love to be together!

Dinosaur Dig. So funny that they were all willing to put on these goggle and sand down rocks for a half an hour. If I asked them to pick up rocks in the yard, I think they would cry! Good times!

David loved showing Kelsey and Kaitlyn around the museum. He had been there last year and was a pro at naming the dinosaurs and telling us about them! They all had fun looking around and getting to touch a few things. The liked the dino dig area too! Lots of fun and pretty neat. Amazing that so many were found in Utah! Kind of makes you think about the rocks in your backyard a little differently...

Night at the Drive In!

The girls and I went for a night at the Drive In already this summer. We got to see Rio and Kung Fu Panda. We all agreed that Rio was our favorite that night and we all stayed up until midnight watching them this time! The girls are turning into night owls, which is fine with me when they sleep in until 10 AM the next day (me too!).

Spaghetti Wednesday and 42 inch Kaitlyn!

Kaitlyn is now 42 inches! (with her shoes on ) She was tall enough to ride the Wacky Worm and the Yo Yo Swings by herself!!! Unfortunately, when we tried to go down the waterslides without flip flops on, she came out too short! Next year she will be 42 with or without shoes! She was so happy! Literally beaming with happiness!

Spaghetti Wednesday! This is was the first Spaghetti Wednesday and after this one, we have T-ball every week and we'll miss it until after the end of July!! They loved their meal!

Water Fun with Cousins!

Happy Memorial Day!

Memorial Day Weekend was unusually hot and the girls enjoys playing in the pool and doing the slip-n-slide! Fun Weekend.

Lady Lions

The girls wore their Lady Lions T-shirts (Thank you Kim!) to say hello to Aunt Karen and Uncle Philip. The girls are very very excited to meet their new cousin this fall!

Recital Night!

After 2 hours, the girls were done dancing! So, we left at intermission to go to the Meadows for Ice Cream! Good Choice! The girls were both asleep by 10:15 and the recital went on until almost 11:00!!

Great dancers!

Excited Ballerinas!

Ballerina Beauties! They were so good about getting ready right away! They were both in school all day on Friday and then home for dinner and time to get dressed up! Kelsey did an excellent job. She did even better than she had done at rehearsals! We were happy that Kaitlyn went up on stage. She is a whole year younger than when Kelsey started dance and she was very brave to get out there. She got a little nervous out there but she did it and she wants to do dance again next year. Love these little beauties.

Dress Rehearsals!

Kaitlyn with Miss Julie. Miss Julie has helped Kaitlyn go in and stay in the dance studio every Monday evening! She is graduating this year and we will miss her!
Acro Girls!

Expecting a grand performance after this dress rehearsal!

Festival Fish!

Kelsey named her fish "Sarah" Sarah lived for 11 days. She started swimming sideways on the 10th night and Bob and I told the girls to say goodbye to Sarah that night when they went to bed. Sarah went to the creek to be with her fish family...

Kaitlyn named her fish "choo choo" Choo Choo lived for 9 days and was very loved and taken care of for those days. On the second night we had Choo Chool, Kaitlyn woke up at about 2 AM and came to our bedroom telling me and Bob that Choo Choo was dead! He wasn't, yet...Bob took Choo Choo to the creek to be with his family (commode creek)

Kelsey and Kaitlyn won fish at this year's YMCA festival! They were so excited to win these little guys. Kailyn carried her fish around the whole time we were at the festival.

Beautiful Girls...

Kelsey was getting a little too much attention for her acro outfit. Kaitlyn jumped in (literally) to prove that she is ready for some acro moves too!
Playing with Bitty in the dining room with their ballerina dresses. So adorable.

So sweet! We (I) pretended that the recital was in 2 hours and told the girls that we had to get ready! They knew that I was pretending but it was a good practice run for Friday night.

Acro and Ballet/Tap Time for Kelsey!

So excited to try on her acro outfit. She loves it!
Clowning around!

Watch this mommy, Watch ME!

She's really getting into this!

Giving it her best!

Boisterous Ballerina!

Our Boisterous Ballerina.

Now, I'm smiling but you can't see it!

I'll smile if I get to act wacky.

I'm not really crying, but I am pretending to cry. I'm not smiling.

No, I'm not going to smile.

Healthy Kids Day at the YMCA!

Cute Cat and Dog girls.

Kaitlyn wanted to be painted like a puppy!

Kelsey picked to be painted like a cat!

Grandparents Breakfast!

Kelsey took Nana, Pappy, and Grandma to Grandparents Breakfast at her school. Those smart school fundraising people planned a book fair for that morning and let the grandparents buy books for the kids. Kelsey had a great time and even got to take her grandparents to her classroom!

First Tooth to Go!

Kelsey lost her first tooth in April! She was at school when it fell out! She was eating a chicken nugget and it fell out. She found it and brought it home in a treasure box. She wrote a note to the tooth fairy asking to please keep her tooth! She kept it in her jewelry box and got a dollar gold coin under her pillow!

Garden Groundhog on the Move

He was caught! He was moved far away! Hopefully he doesn't find his way back. I think I've seen his cousins around the block, hopefully, they stay away from our garden!

The groundhog was really moving in!

A friend of ours brought over her groundhog trap to help use catch a groundhog that was building a home out by our garden box. The girls were very excited to catch him. They put apples and oranges in the trap.
