Snowy Halloween!

We had a snowstorm this October!  6-10 inches of Snow!
We ran down to the basement to dig out the snowpants, hats, gloves and sleds!
Lots of leaves around to add some hair to Kelsey's Snowlady!  Kelsey did almost all of the work herself!
Kaitlyn loved the snow!  This might be her year to ski!
We built a pumpkin snowman!

Trick or Treat Night in the Neighborhood!

 Witchy Woman
 Vampire Girl
Happy Halloween!  This yard display was amazing!

Trick or Treat at the High School

We went to Trick or Treat night at the High School.  The girls enjoyed walking from classroom to classroom with the different clubs and sports teams handing out candy.

The girls got to meet up with some friends while we watched the costume contest!

Pumpkin Time - Cut it out!!

Kaitlyn was especially excited to cut into the big pumpkin.
 Just love this toothless smile!
 Kaitlyn wanted an angry pumpkin.
Happy Halloween!

Tea Party for Ryan and Kaitlyn

Ryan always enjoys his time with bitty baby and the American Girls when he comes to visit.  He's a little mommy when he's at our house.  This weekend, the boys came to visit while Kirstin and Paul went to the PSU game.  Ryan and Kaitlyn took care of the babies all afternoon.  They carried them up and down the steps to put them to bed and then take them to a tea party. The got along very well.
The older crew had some arguments about cheating on games of Crazy 8s and UNO.  They are getting to be quite sneaky in their kindergarten and 1st grade years!

Llama Llama Red Pajama and the Nittany Lion!

Kaitlyn and I went to the library for Llama Llama Red Pajama reading night.  It was an event to have someone reading the same book at the same time across America.  Kaitlyn loves this story, so we went to check it out!  She got to wear her pajamas to the library!
The Nittany Lion was there with some friends passing out creamery ice cream!
One of our local Newscasters read the book to the group.  Kaitlyn raised her hand to answer a question and won a book to take home!

Rock and Roll Reading Night!

Kaitlyn got to come along for Kelsey's school reading night and join in the dress up fun.  The theme was rock and roll reading.  Kaitlyn dressed up as Hannah Montana!
Kelsey wanted to be Katy Perry.   I refused to spray her hair pink but I think she looks rocking in this outfit...kind of Katy Perry-ish.
Kelsey with Mrs. Shaw!  Check out that great smile!

Bavarian Octoberfest Excitement!

Kaitlyn was so excited to win a prize!  Pure Joy at winning a ziploc bag of sponges!  We also won some sauerkraut, and some oatmeal.
Kelsey was too busy texting to notice the excitement.  I think she was writing to Aunt Michelle.

Seven Springs in the Fall Freezing Rain!

Face Painting, Air Hockey, Ski Ball...these are all still fun in freezing rain!  We went to Seven Springs for an Autumn Fest Weekend Getaway and got caught in freezing rain all weekend!  We still enjoyed good food, fun times indoors and some football!

 Seriously, it's freezing out here!
This is as close as we got to the petting zoo!

Here We Go Steelers!

I threw Bob in with the Marshall Girls Dance Team!  The Thundering Herd Girls were part of the half time show at the Steeler Game!

Steeler Game!

Bubble Heads!

I haven't taken a bubble picture in a very long time.  The other night, the girls were together and I had to run and get the camera.  They really do have a good time together---for the most part!  Silly girls and their bubbles!

Martinsburg Playground and Pumpkin Picking with Cousins!

We had David and Ryan for an overnight visit and visited Martinsburg Park, went roller skating and picked the pumpkins from our garden.  Kaitlyn and Ryan tolerated the roller skating portion of the day.  Kelsey and David enjoyed skating around in circles all afternoon.

 Kaitlyn loves those cowboy boots!

 Monkey!
On the way home we passed a truck show!  So we stopped to check out the cement mixer and some big trucks.

Pumpkin picking.  We happened to have 4 little pumpkins!  So they all decorated their own and posed for me!

Cheerleading Camp - Football Game - Cancelled due to Rain/Lightning - First Time in History!

Kelsey was very excited to perform at the football game with the high school cheerleaders.  She got her shirt, the tattoo and they even let her little sister have some fun too! We had a good time in the gym - out of the torrential rain storm!  It rained all night and then the lightning arrived.  Everytime we had lightning the game was delayed for 30 minutes...Finally, after 3 delays, the game was cancelled.  Poor Kelsey, Poor Us for standing in the rain!

Best sister ever!

Dress Up Time

The girls had fun playing dress up with their neighborhood friends this summer.  The only challenge is making sure they all go home with their own clothes!

Bellwood Pool for the last days of Summer.

We checked out the Bellwood pool during the last week of summer.  The girls liked the slides and the snack bar.  They had a great afternoon!
