Valentine's Day - Continued...

It's Amy, Kim, Maureen and Shelby plus 8 - okay that doesn't rhyme but if you're a fan of Jon and Kate you smiled. Amy hosted a Valentine's day party on Monday. The kids ran around, got all of the barbies out in the girls bedroom, got all of the little people out in Nicholas' room and then got all of the toys out in the downstairs. Did I say Thank You for hosting the party Amy?

Guess who wants a bunkbed now? Kelsey loved playing in the girls room - I had to go back and get her to join the party a few times. She loves to hang out in their room and play with their toys.

Alina helped Kelsey out when she was shy. Alina and Kelsey spent some time looking out the window and then sat together to eat pizza.

Ocean In February!

Ocean City, NJ. Bob and I went to Atlantic City for Valentine's day and then drove down to Ocean City to get Pizza on Sunday afternoon.

Valentine's Day Fun

Kelsey got to go to her friend's house for a party on Friday night.
Kelsey and I decorated a shoebox for her party day. She took Dora and Puppy valentine's for her friends. This is her "oh so sweet, such a cutie" face. She likes to pose for pictures now. She told me that Ivy was her valentine.

Kaitlyn loved the m&m's and lollipop in her valentine's day bag. One of her pigtails fell out during nap time today. She told me that Ty Ty was her valentine!

Little Cinderella

Kaitlyn loves to use the vacuum. If I let her vacuum on her own, it would probably take her a few days to get the house done. She's very meticulous - or do I mean slow? - either way she's my little helper with the vacuum.

Steelers Family!

Funny Story. I tried to trick Kelsey today at dinner. She said "Are these the chicken nuggets that I like?" and I lied and told her yes. For some reason she doesn't like Tyson anymore. So, she says "You're fibbing mom" and I say "no, you like them, try them" Then she says "Seriously Mommy, you are fibbing. You are making up stories." She ended up eating all of the nuggets and liking them just fine. I have never heard her say "seriously" before. It was hysterical.

Kelsey demands that I tie these blankets around their waists when they dance. Kaitlyn went and got this baby hat out of their baby doll basket and squeezed it onto her head! Funny Girls.

After cookies, the girls got dressed up and played hospital with the babies.

Mmmmm Icing!

Kaitlyn had a great time making cookies and icing them. She got her own bowl of icing and ate it up before icing a single speck of her cookie. mmmmm. She's our little candy girl.

Kelsey and Paige sharing a laugh. Sometimes Kaitlyn is the odd man out. Maybe it's because she eats the dough, covers herself in icing, and throws the sprinkles on the floor?

We had a playdate tonight and made valentine cookies. Paige, Kelsey and Kaitlyn each got their own ball of dough and rolling pin. Kaitlyn really gets in on the fun. She ran around yelling "Shelby" and "Paige" - Paige calls me Shelby and so Kelsey and Kaitlyn think it's funny for them to call me that too! By the end of the night, I am mommy again.

Library Fun!

Kaitlyn loves this dog so much that it's dangerous! She goes so far back and then rocks forward to make the dog slide across the floor. Everyone has to look out for Kaitlyn.
Look at how wonderfully they share. Just perfect. Oh wouldn't that be so boring!? It's much more fun with the screaming, grabbing, and crying out "mine!"

Snowy Times

Kaitlyn does not like to be cold. She lasts a very short time outside - 25 minutes or so - until she starts to just stand there and cry, saying "all done, all done" and pointing to the house. I wrapped up as much of her as I could. By the way, Kirstin - we have your scarf, if you didn't notice in this picture.
Kelsey loves to go outside. Kirstin and I copied off of our friend Lauretta and went to Wal Mart and got these cute little shovels for our kids. Kelsey was a pretty good helper on this day!

Slinky!

Kaitlyn and Ryan hung out together a little bit at Slinky. They climbed up this ramp twice! They both napped well after this trip!

Here's Kaitlyn. Very proud of herself for going through all of the tunnels all by herself - after I crawled through for the first hour to show her it was easy!

Sleepover!

Kelsey kept saying that David wouldn't stop talking and David kept saying that Kelsey wouldn't stop talking. Either way, they talked until about 11:30 and then the whole house was quiet!

They stayed up late and played with their new play doh kits until almost 10:00!

Incredible Hulk Kids

Kaitlyn had to wear the mask just like Kelsey and David. She walked around growling at all of us! Funny how you can see her blue eye peeking out the one hole!
David brought his Hulk and Batman costumes to play with Kelsey. Kelsey offerred him her pajamas. She told him that he could wear any of her jammies out of her drawer. He adamantly refused, saying "No, I wear Kung Fu Panda pajamas."

Kaitlyn Turns 2

Kaitlyn turned 2 this weekend! We had a huge celebration weekend with Chuck E. Cheese on Friday, party on Saturday, Sleep over Saturday Night with David and Ryan, and then Slinky Action Zone on Sunday!


Pin the pucker on Mickey. Minnie loves to give kisses to Mickey! Look at David and Kelsey in the background, holding hands. They were so excited to hang out all night. I will post sleep over pictures tomorrow.

The Birthday Girl got all dressed up for her party on Saturday. She was our little Minnie. Isn't she lovely?

Kaitlyn climbed up into the skink after she was done dancing! Funny Girl. She loves to brush her teeth - eat toothpaste.
Kelsey was dancing all over the place. She loves her new Snow White dress. She danced to "high ho, high ho, it's off to work we go..."

While we were getting ready for bed tonight, I put in the Disney CD and Kelsey and Kaitlyn wanted to get dressed up!! If I asked them to put on princess dresses and dance together, they would have said no way, but on their own, they did it! So cute. We had fun getting ready for bed.
