The girls really enjoyed the circus. They loved the clowns and wanted lots of pictures with all of them!
This is the first year that we've gotten to see the elephants outside. The girls got up and rode the elephant together! Kelsey said it was stinky. I think she's right. Kaitlyn wanted to know why the tigers weren't outside for rides.
Kaitlyn did not want to take a nap! She played outside all day last weekend. She had snowcones with the neighbors and then got a little bit miserable. I took her inside to try to get her to go to bed for a nap. She screamed, yelled, hit, kicked and said "I am not tired" I walked away from her temper tantrum and she was asleep on my bedroom floor within about 2 minutes! Tired Out!
Kelsey went to her friend Ivy's Fancy Nancy Themed Birthday party. The girls all got manicures and pedicures. Then they went to the spa shop and used pretend credit cards to buy necklaces, lipstick, and hair ties. They had a three tiered fancy birthday cake and made tissue paper flowers to take home! Kelsey had a great afternoon with Ivy and her friends!
The girls actually stopped picking up the eggs to play for awhile on the swingset! I think had a lot of egg hunts and they were just excited that we were outside playing! They didn't even open their eggs until that evening.
I loved watching them run all over in these cute little tutu skirts. Little princesses!
Diva on the grass. We were late while making the big decision - Which shoes to wear? It's important now!
The girls enjoyed the egg hunt at Aunt Michele and Uncle Marco's parent's house. M&M's are a favorite for Kaitlyn. She ate them up right away!
Smiles!
10.000 eggs at Legion Park and 50,000 people! This was a little overwhelming. The girls enjoyed this 2 minute egg hunt. Kelsey got 6 eggs and Kaitlyn got one (only because she cheated and grabbed one early).
Kaitlyn is doing her "I'm crazy" face in this picture. She loves to be "crazy" She made lots of crazy eggs. We were crazy about colors all night. The girls dyed their hands.
Kelsey enjoyed looking at all of her pictures. She wanted to know who drew each one. Poor Kaitlyn. She wants to be five so badly. She had a rough day but seemed to be happy more than sad. She cried the whole time we sang happy birthday. Her day will come. We will probably end up renting horses and getting a monkey for her 5th birthday! She'll have all of this fun too!
Loving her Ginger Cat and carrier! Kelsey was so happy to have the American Girl set!
So excited to put a cast and give cruches to her dolls!
Woo Hoo! Pixos car kit and rock star clothes for the dolls! Yay! She wore her ballerina necklace to school on Monday!
Kaitlyn made sure that she got a blue bottle pop. She loves them! mmmmm Sugar... Birthday Girl. She loved getting her picture taken!
Michael is ready to turn 5 himself! Off to kindergarten next year for Michael and Kelsey!
All of her guests colored a special picture for Kelsey to keep in her memory book. Kelsey looked through all of them that night and wanted to know who drew each one.
Kelsey spent a lot of time signing all of the special crayon pens for her party guests. The stars all said "You Rock" with a thank you note from Kelsey. The girls both helped fill up the goody bags too. Kaitlyn made sure to find one with a blue candy for herself!
Hannah Montana Cupcake Cake! It was so easy to pull apart and serve!
Happy Birthday! Kelsey was so happy and excited about her birthday party. She talked and talked about it all week. She got so excited everytime somebody called to say they could attend. "That's so cool mommy!" She said, about Max coming to her party. "Oh Yeah!" She was so happy to have her friends come to the party! She had 22 guests!
