Jungle Book Monkey!

 Kelsey signed up to be a Monkey in the Jungle Book show at school!  They accepted every Monkey that signed up and we had 46 first grade monkeys.  The "Monkey Moms" spent a very busy week back stage trying to keep the monkeys quiet.  Kaitlyn came along for all of the practices too!  She was a great little sister!

Bunny Buddies

 Bunny Buddies!  They all had a great night and then played outside the next day.  Kelsey got to try out her new bike.  David went home and was done with training wheels!   Fun how cousins help motivate each other!

Happy 7th Birthday to Kelsey!

 We celebrated Kelsey's birthday with a family bowling party at the Bavarian.  The kids had their own lane and they played 2 full games!  The first game was played on their own and then they needed some encouragement to finish up the second game!  The adults divided up to play women versus the men.  We all had a great afternoon bowling!

 Big girl bike!  20 inch bike with 6 gears!  Can't wait for summer!

Sleep Over Time!

Training Wheels...

 Kelsey helped Kaitlyn give her bike a try without training wheels.  They decided to try it in the yard first.  How exciting!  Maybe Kelsey will be able to teach Kaitlyn how to drive too!

Scrapbooking Weekend!

 Marcia taught a class in digital scrapbooking - she didn't sign up to teach the class but a crowd formed around her :)

 Kirstin and I enjoyed some beverages while scrapbooking our pictures - increases the creativity!

 It was a little cold to go out and enjoy the scenery.  Some people sat out next to the fire but I preferred to stay inside!  We spent 2 1/2 days scrapbooking, eating, drinking and laughing.  Hope to do this again next year!

Roller Skating Afternoon

 Kelsey, Kaitlyn, Paige and Abby spent the afternoon roller skating on Saturday.  They did much better this year than last year!  They fell down a lot but they spent more time moving than sitting!

Visit to Penn State JoePa Statue

 We went for a visit to Penn State this weekend to see the Joe Paterno Statue by the stadium and see the remebrances that people have been leaving.  The girls don't understand what is happening at Penn State but they know it's a sad time for Penn State. We walked downtown and got some t-shirts for the girls to wear when they get together with cousin Avalene.  We'll have to make a Nittany Lion out of her!

A little bit of snow.

This year we got most of our snow in October!  We had a little weekend storm this week and go the sleds out to ride.  The girls can sled ride all by themselves now! I get to watch and laugh while listening to them scream down the hill and huff and puff back up the hill!  Kelsey can stay out in the cold all day but Kaitlyn gets tired of the cold air in about an hour!  Lots of hot chocolate today!

Party Time for Kaitlyn's 5th Birthday!

 Kaitlyn helped me fillup all of the goody bags for her party.  We put balls, erasers, Hello Kitty tattoos and whoopy cushions in every party bag.  Luckily, we had lots of whoopy cushions left over to play with at homes :)

 So excited for friends to arrive!  Kaitlyn had about 26 kids attend her party.  School friends, dance friends, cousins, neighbors and family friends!

 Lots of babies!  Busy days for these moms!  Glad they came to Slinky to play!

 We tried out Laser tag.  The attendant left the lights on for our group - we thought they would be afraid to run around in the dark!  We don't know who won but it was fun to wach them suit up!

 Presents!  Kaitlyn had a wonderful day and a great party!  She loved all of the attention and playtime with her friends!
