Warning about cultured marble sink tops....

Apparently, cultured marble sink tops can sometimes crack, or should I say bust open and break into a giant gaping hole. Kelsey dropped the soap pump that she always uses in her bathroom this weekend. It was crazy and Bob and I couldn't believe how loud it crashed and how big the hole broke into the sink! Kelsey on the other hand had very little reaction to the giant hole in her sink and kept asking us...
Are my teeth clean, say yes or no!? She barely responded to the giant hole in her sink until we would answer her!!! We have a trip to the dentist coming up but seriously, did she notice the giant hole in the sink? She called Pappy Dave with her own ideas about how to replace the sink. She doesn't understand why we have to replace the whole thing, she's like pappy dave to just cut her sink out and fix that part. I think she thinks we just need some super glue!

Ski Girl

Coming down a big slope!

Kelsey had a fun day skiing with Bob! She was very excited to go but kept it very quiet so it wouldn't upset Kaitlyn. She really did a nice job being a good sister. She didn't tease Kaitlyn or even say one syllable of the "nanananaaanaaanaaah" tease phrase that we sometimes hear. Bob took both girls to daycre and then slipped back to Kelsey's room and got Kelsey back. They went skiing for 4 hours. Kelsey took a 1 hour lesson. She did the bunny slope most of the day but then ventured out to upper mambo for 3 runs! She liked everything about it. Can't wait till we can all go!

Trip to the Mountain!

No fear on the chairlift. She's done these since she was a baby at Seven Springs!

Kelsey at her lesson!

Kelsey was so excited to go skiing on the mountain. She wanted to know - will I be sitting on the skiis? Will I be able to see everything from on top of the mountain?

Bedtime for Bitty

Kaitlyn is really catching on to posing for pictures. "get me mommy" "look at me mommy" She had fun getting Bitty ready for bed on this night.
Kelsey likes to brush her teeth and then say "Are they clean, say yes or no" and then she pulls her cheeks back really far so we can see all of those teeth. She's really into keeping them clean. Fear of cavities really motivates her. She took care of Bitty's teeth on this night.

At bedtime, I sometimes carry both girls up, one on my back and one on my shoulders. They did the same for Bitty on this night.

Fashion Girls Tea Party

Kelsey has been talking about "fashion girls" lately. She explained that a "fashion girl" wears make up and fancy clothes. So, Kaitlyn and Kelsey had a fashion girl/princess tea party. They got dressed up all by themselves.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

The Learning Express Buddies. Maureen had a Valentine Playdate on Monday while we were all off school. Such a busy month for Lilly! She'll be two next week!
Heavy concentration on this side of the table.
Kaitlyn ruled the glue. She enjoyed making her valentine wreath.

Kelsey colored a pretty rainbow with the girls.

More Peas Please!

The most amazing pea eater in our house!
She loves peas. She can't stand to see any peas go down the drain. She has to finish off that bowl of peas!

Like a baby bird. Lovin those peas.

Birthday Party!

Kelsey celebrated her friend, Jake's, 5th birthday on Sunday at the YMCA pool! She swam for an hour and then had fun playing party games and eating cake! She won two of the party prizes, which made her very excited to get home and show off to Kaitlyn!

Valentine's Day Party

Kaitlyn loved decorating her own cupcake. She had her favorite flavor (brown) and added red, blue, green, yellow, and more brown icing! She was hilarious.
Kelsey worked really hard to make her cupcake. She made a smiley face and then added lots of candies to it before taking a bite!

Kaitlyn played with Noah, and Violet a lot. She liked playing with all of the baby toys.

Kelsey loved getting a chance to play in Ivy's room.

silly valentine girls. Ready for a party.

Too much of a good thing.

Too much hugging, too much candy, too much...
Happy Hugs...and then..

The girls had a great ice cream party at school. Kaitlyn enjoyed her favorite flavor: "brown"

Kelsey had a great ice cream party too! Her favorite part of the day was when she got to put her valentine's in her friend's decorated boxes.

Still loving the snow! I can't stop taking pictures!!

Poor Elephant. He was buried in the snow after he helped Kaitlyn be brave enough to try out a sled ride! He has to sleep in this bowl all night until he is ready for the dryer. He was trully buried out in the snow and I had to go back out and find him!
Cookie time! It's the best kind of lunch you can have after playing in the snow!

I can't believe how much snow we got! The girls loved these tunnels. This was my last sled ride with Kelsey today. I think this is when Elephant got buried in the snow. See how busy Kaitlyn looks down there!

Wow! That was really fast!

Speedy! Loving the disc sled!

Yay! Kaitlyn tried out sled riding with me and Elephant! She loved it.

Loving our snow blower today!

So happy to be out with Elephant!

Snow bunny and Snow Elephant! I can't stop taking pictures and I think they are all so cute. I can't stop posting pictures!!!

Loving the snow!

Kelsey and I used the heavy snow blown snow by the driveway to make an igloo! She pretended to sleep in there and then we made up names for her pet polar bear and penguin! She stayed out for almost 2 hours!

I had to beg her to try out the disc sled. She was afraid. After begging and pleading, she loved it! She went down about 10 times one her own and 10 with me helping her get going. After the first 10 or so, she learned to scoot up and I got to hang out on my sled and just watch and applaud.

Kaitlyn liked walking through the tunnels through the back yard. She liked shoveling too. She just didn't like sled riding. She will have to try again tomorrow. She watched us for awhile but couldn't be convinced to try it out.

Wipe out!
